Many flints found here, including leaf-shaped and barbed arrowheads.

A scatter of prehistoric flints was found in this field (No 1438 on the 19th century Stockland Tithe Map) by N Pearce and is now part of the Pearce Collection in Exeter Museum. A total of 238 pieces was found (86 flint, 152 chert) including flint: 11 scrapers, 5 blades, 1 leaf-shaped arrowhead, 1 blade; chert: 1 axe, 1 awl, 1 arrowhead. Other details: Archive.

A flint scatter was found in this field (86 flint and 152 chert). Flint finds included 12 scrapers and two blades and one leaf-shaped arrowhead; the chert finds included one axe, one awl and one arrowhead. The site lies to north of the Shore Bottom survey area.
