A scatter of prehistoric flints was found in this field (tm 1505) by n. Pearce. A total of 484 pieces was found comprising 216 flints, 265 chert and 3 portland chert. The group includes flint: 39 scrapers, 6 notched, 17 blades, 1 mesolithic pick; chert: 28 scrapers, 1 complete bulb, 9 notched, 6 blades (emafu).
