A scatter of prehistoric flints was found in 4 small fields (tm 419 : church close, 420, 423, 425) by n. Pearce.46 pieces were found in field 419 (25 flint, 20 chert, 1 portland chert) including flint: 6 blades, 2 blade cores, 3 scrapers, 1 possible burin and 1 arrowhead; chert: 1 scraper, 2 blades and 1 portland chert blade.1 piece of flint was found in tm field 423 and 1 piece of chert in tm field 425.1 piece of chert core tool was found in tm field 420 (emafu).
