A narrow strip along the eastern edge of this field (Tithe Map 2015 : Garden Close) was examined by N Pearce during the insertion of a water pipeline. Two pieces of worked chert were found, one of which is a scraper, and now are part of the Pearce Collection in Exeter Museum. Other details: Archive.
