A strip down the eastern part of this field (Tithe Map 1947: Brake) was examined by N Pearce during the insertion of a water pipe. A total of 19 prehistoric flints was collected. 6 of the pieces are flint, 12 chert and 1 portland chert. The group includes 1 flint scraper, 2 flint blades and 1 flint core.
