Name:Pillow mound south of prehistoric enclosure at Legis Tor Warren

Summary

Pillow mound forming part of Legis Tor Warren. It survives as a flat-topped, oblong-shaped mound of soil and stone surrounded on three sides by the ditch from which construction material was quarried. It lies with its long axis across to the hillslope, measures 10.4m long, 5.8m wide, 0.9m high and is surrounded by a 2m wide and 0.4m deep ditch.

22/02/1993 (SX 5710 6519) this pillow mound forms part of Legis Tor Warren. It survives as a flat-topped, oblong-shaped mound of soil and stone surrounded on three sides by the ditch from which construction material was quarried. It lies with its long axis across to the hillslope, measures 10.4m long, 5.8m wide, 0.9m high and is surrounded by a 2m wide and 0.4m deep ditch.
