Summary

Two adjoining hut circles shown on 19th century map. Hut recorded in 1993 to the south-west of enclosure. Interior measures 5 metres in diameter and is defined by a 1.3 metres wide wall standing up to 0.4 metres high. Condition survey visit in 2018 suggested this feature is actually part of the enclosure where a number of sub-divisions exist in the south-west corner.

Two adjoining hut circles shown on 19th century map at this location.

(22/02/1993) SX 5750 6536 Stone hut circle forming part of an extensive prehistoric settlement. It is terraced into the hillslope, and is of the simple plan and rubble bank walling type. The interior measures 5m in diameter and is defined by a 1.3m wide wall standing up to 0.4m high.
Gerrard's plan of the settlement shows this hut lying at the south-west corner of the enclosure (just outside). Another hut is shown close by to the south of this one and some associated walling.

Features in the south-west corner of the enclosure at Settlement 'D' include several adjoining hut circles and courts
