Name:Hut east of enclosure south-east of Legis Tor, Sheepstor

Summary

Two huts lie to the east of this enclosure on the moderate southern flank of Legis Tor. Remains of the southern hut consist of a sub-circular platform measuring 4.4 metres north-south by 3.8 metres internally with walls 1.5 metres wide and 0.6 metres high. A possible entrance lies in the east side.

22/02/1993 (SX 5747 6535) Hut circle terraced into the hillslope, and of the simple plan and double orthostat walling type. Interior measures 4.7m in diameter and is defined by a 1.4m wide wall standing up to 0.5m high. A gap in the surrounding wall facing south-south-east and lined on both sides represents an original doorway.
