Summary

A disturbed stone hut circle associated with an extensive settlement of huts and enclosures, south of Legis Tor. Very little of the wall facing remains in situ but the internal diameter is approximately 4.42m and the spread wall remains are 2m wide. Surveyed in March 2022.

22/02/1993 (SX 5745 6532) Hut circle terraced into the hillslope, and of the simple plan and double orthostat walling type. The interior of the structure measures 5m in diameter and is defined by a 2.4m wide wall standing up to 0.8m high.
A wing wall associated with a nearby post-medieval vermin trap (SX56NE-232) is attached to the western wall of this hut.

(07/02/2005) Two huts lie immediately south of the kidney-shaped enclosure and are associated with fragments of crude contemporary walling:
SX 5746 6532. A levelled platform 4.7m in diameter partially obscured by later stone clearance.
