Summary

A stone hut circle located just to the north of an incomplete enclosure wall on the southern slopes of Legis Tor. This hut has been disturbed and is in poor condition, with little in-situ stone and no visible entrance. The internal diameter is approximately 5.2m and the walls have become spread to 2.7m wide. The hut is part of an extensive complex of prehistoric settlement and enclosure spread over the southern slopes of Legis Tor (MDV3326).

22/02/1993 Hut circle terraced into the hillslope, and is of the simple plan and double orthostat walling type. The interior of the structure measures 6m in diameter and is defined by a 2m wide wall standing up to 0.4m high. This hut lies 0.4m north of a broadly contemporary enclosure boundary bank.
