Full description

Hut circle terraced into the hillslope, and of the conjoined plan and coursed walling type. Interior of the southern structure measures 3.4 metres in diameter and is defined by a 1.0 metre wide wall standing up to 0.5 metres high. The doorway faces south. The northern room survives as a 3.0 metre diameter stone free terraced area. This hut may pre-date the main phase of Bronze Age occupation, because it has clearly been partly robbed and this is most likely to have occurred in antiquity, perhaps at the time when the nearby agglomerate enclosure was being built and occupied.
