Summary

Post-Medieval or earlier animal pound attached to a Prehistoric agglomerate enclosure. Composed of rubble walling, 1.8 metres wide and 1 metre high, defining a sub-rectangular interior area measuring 9.5 metres by 6 metres. May have been built on top of an earlier stone hut circle.

Ordnance Survey, 1880-1899, First Edition Ordnance 25 inch map (Cartographic). SDV336179.

A semi-circular feature is shown on 19th century map extending from the east side of the enclosure.

22/02/1993 (SX 5704 6522) Post-Medieval animal pound attached to a Prehistoric agglomerate enclosure. Composed of rubble walling, 1.8m wide and 1m high, defining a sub-rectangular interior area measuring 9.5m by 6m. May have been built on top of an earlier stone hut circle.

Oval feature shown on the exterior of the east side of the main enclosure within Settlement 'A' at Legis Tor and on the south side of the northern leat. The feature is larger than the associated hut cirlces.
