Full description

Gerrard, S., 1990-2002, Monument Protection Programme. Archaeological Item Dataset., MPP 130597 (Report - Survey). SDV277946.

1992 (SX 5623 8425) Hut circle situated within an enclosure. It is terraced into the hillslope and is of the simple plan and rubble bank walling type. The interior measures 3m in diameter and is defined by a 1.4m wide wall standing up to 0.6m high.

(27/05/2004, Fletcher M. J., English Heritage Field Investigation) Sixteen hut circles set on a fairly steep east-south-east facing moorland hillslope above a wide sheltered river valley within a fragmentary enclosure.
SX5622 84254 Internally 3.2m by 2.4m, levelled into the slope with a 0.5m high front scarp and an 0.4m high boulder wall. No obvious entrance.
