The barrow is situated on the gentle southeast facing slopes of a hillside, in proximity to Row Barrow (MDV1524) to the west and a second barrow (MDV11498) further to the southwest. The barrow is obscured by tree cover of Oak Copse and so was not visible on aerial photographs or other digital images made available to the survey.
