Visited on 11th March 1994. Hut circle within a large settlement overlooking the valley of the River Yealm. Terraced into the hillslope and of the simple plan with forecourt and rubble bank walling type. Interior measures 4.5 metres in diameter and is defined by a 1.7 metres wide wall standing up to 0.6 metres high. Doorway survives as a gap in the surrounding wall, is partly blocked and faces south. Forecourt is attached to south side of hut, measures 9.5 metres north to south by 11.5 metres east to west and is defined by a rubble bank 1.7 metres wide and 0.3 metres high. The forecourt itself, is attached to lengths of boundary bank which form part of a fragmentary field system. This hut is the only one within the settlement with a visible forecourt.
