Ordnance Survey Archaeology Division, 1950, SX66NW9 (Ordnance Survey Archaeology Division Card). SDV252857.

SX 61936988 Cist recorded 54.9 metres south-east of white stone in the wall. Area was overgrown with high heather in 1917-1918, but the heather was burnt in 1920 and the cist was quite plain with capstone by north-east side. The south-west stone had gone (unattributed source).
(06/06/1950) No trace of this antiquity could be found during visit by the Ordnance Survey.

Gerrard, S., 2004, List of Sites Remaining to be Considered for Designation on Dartmoor (Un-published). SDV345444.

This site would have been considered for designation as a Scheduled Ancient Monument during the Monument Protection Programme. The programme ended before the entire list of sites was successfully scheduled so this is included on a local list of Nationally Important Sites.
[NB: as this feature is not confirmed, it should not be considered as an NI site. Richards, A. F., 25/03/2022].
