A possible square ditched enclosure of possible later prehistoric date was visible as a partial cropmark on aerial photographs of 1989, near the south-facing tip of a spur south-east of Three Elms Cross. The cropmark measures up to 3 metres across and encloses an area approximately 40 by 50 metres in size. A linear feature appearing to abut the south-western corner of the enclosure corresponds with a field boundary depicted on the Tithe Map for Clyst St Lawrence and has not been transcribed.
