Full description
MESSENGER, Untitled Source (Migrated Record). SDV1420.
Viaduct marked on Ordnance Survey 6" (1906) map carrying Torrington and Marland light railway over part of Stowford Moor. Appears as embankment on Ordnance Survey 6" (1963) map. Stowford Moor viaduct appears to have been shortened from 256m to 96m between the Ordnance surveys of 1884/5 and 1906. Replaced with embankment in the 1920's (Messenger).
