The rifle range is not shown on the late-19th century First Edition Ordnance Survey map but is depicted on the early 20th century Second Edition map and 2021 Ordnance Survey MasterMap.
Earthworks of three banks, circa 15 metres long, are visible on lidar imagery. The northernmost of these corresponds with a feature on the 2021 MasterMap and so it was not transcribed as part of this survey.
It is uncertain if the rifle range is still in use.
