(21/04/1993) Cairn mound measures 4m in diameter and stands up to 0.5m high.

Great Nodden cairn '8' at SX53398689 of 4.5 metres diameter by 0.3 metres high. One of a group of four cairns to the south-west of Great Nodden.

(19/11/1993) SX53388690 Two Round Cairns were recorded here 715m SW of Great Nodden. The Round Cairns are of Bronze Age date

This monument includes two round cairns orientated north-east to south-west, situated on the gentle south-facing spur of Great Nodden. The southern mound, which lies 11 metres from the other cairn, measures 4 metres in diameter and stands up to 0.5 metres high.
