(21/04/1993) SX 5331 8678 Cairn mound is flat-topped, measures 5 metres in diameter and stands up to 0.6 metres high.

Great Nodden cairn '5' at SX53338678 of 5.5 metres diameter by 0.3 metres high. Cairns '5' and '6' are part of a group of six small cairns of 4.5 to 5.5 metres in diameter by 0.3 metres high.

(19/11/1993) SX 53328679 Two Round Cairns were recorded at this location 840 metres south-west of Great Nodden. The Round Cairns are Bronze Age in date.
This monument includes two round cairns orientated NW-SE and situated on the gentle south-facing spur of Great Nodden overlooking the valley of the River Lyd. The western cairn mound is flat topped, measures 5 metres in diameter and stands up to 0.6 metres high.
