Full description
Gerrard, S., 1990-2002, Monument Protection Programme. Archaeological Item Dataset., MPP 130971 (Report - Survey). SDV277946.
Visited on 20th April 1993. Hut circle within a small settlement. Simple plan and earthwork type. Interior measures 7 metres in diameter and is defined by a 2.3 metres wide bank standing up to 0.4 metres high. Doorway survives as a gap in the surrounding wall and faces west-south-west. This building is one of 5 huts, forming a string of apparently unconnected structures. It is, however, likely that these huts were originally linked to each other by a timber palisade or similar structure which now survives as a buried feature.
