Full description
Ordnance Survey, 1880-1899, First Edition Ordnance 25 inch map (Cartographic). SDV336179.
Series of three quarries marked on the late 19th century historic map, to the south of the road (not shown on the Tithe Map). The two at the western end are marked as 'Old Quarry', while that at the eastern end is just marked as 'Quarry', suggesting a progression in usage.

The three areas of workings are shown on the early 20th century (1906) historic map; those at the western end are not labelled, while that to the east is marked as 'Old Quarry', indicating they have all fallen out of use by this time.
