Full description
Ordnance Survey, 1880-1899, First Edition Ordnance 25 inch map (Cartographic). SDV336179.
The late 19th century historic map shows the buildings here labelled as 'Mine Cottages', with a sand pit at the south-eastern end and two old chimneys, one to the south-east and the other to the north-west of the cottages. The cottages are directly adjacent to the route of the old mine tramway running across Bagtor, serving Crownley Parks (Bagtor) and Hemsworthy Mine.
