Full description

Ordnance Survey, 1880-1899, First Edition Ordnance 25 inch map (Cartographic). SDV336179.

Leat shown on 19th century map running southwest from SX72763884 via the mill then running southeast to 'North Sand Bay' at SX73033818. A 'Sluice' is shown just north of the bay.

Shown as 'Mill Leat' on Ordnance Survey maps. Emanates from Hangar Mill. Has been culverted, and its southeast portion lies under car park adjacent to North Sands Bay. Cut by line of proposed pipeline at SX73043819.
