Hegarty, C. + Knight, S. + Sims, R., 2014-2015, East and Mid Devon River Catchments National Mapping Programme Project (Interpretation). SDV356883.

A dark curvilinear cropmark, circa 2-3 metres wide and measuring approximately 40 by 50 metres, is visible on aerial photographs taken between 1987 and 1992. Although only parts are clearly visible, it appears to have formed over the infilled remains of a double ditched enclosure, with an inner circuit narrower than the exterior, on the southern side at least. The form is consistent with an interpretation of a later prehistoric or Roman curvilinear enclosure. Irregular cropmarks of probable geological origin are visible in other parts of this field.
