A circular cropmark which has been recorded within this record as a prehistoric enclosure is most likely the result of geological patterning in the ground. Aerial photographs of 1992 show a dense pattern of interlocking cropmarks likely caused by frost cracking and which correspond to the ‘enclosure’ recorded here.
