Cairn in good condition. 20/4/1950
One of two cairns. A round platform cairn, 16.5 meters in diameter, 1.0 meter high. Now badly mutilated by erection of modern marker cairn and shelter. 13/7/1977 Other details: Profile.

Cairn, crowned by modern stone heap, measuring 17.0 meters in diameter, height 1.3 meters. Visited 17/9/1974

This cairn has a deep central pit and is slightly smaller than its southern neighbour, measuring 18 meters in diameter and 1.2 meters in height. It is also crowned with a modern stone heap. Other details: Map 58, 10.

This site was considered for designation as a Scheduled Ancient Monument during the Monument Protection Programme. The programme ended before the entire list of sites was successfully scheduled so this is included on a local list of Nationally Important Sites.
