The remains of a Bronze Age hut circle. It measures 6.5m by 5.0m internally with walling of 0.8m wide which is very fragmentary and composed of small stones.

Full description

Ordnance Survey, 1880-1899, First Edition Ordnance 25 inch map (Cartographic). SDV336179.

Hut is depicted on the first edition historic map.

Ordnance Survey, 1904 - 1906, Second Edition Ordnance Survey 25 inch Map (Cartographic). SDV325644.

As the late 19th century map, although this location matches the Ordnance Survey grid reference for the site more precisely.

(02/05/1950) Remains of hut circle correct as shown on the Ordnance Survey 6 inch mapping. The fragmentary walls are composed of a few stones, some of which are gorse-covered. Diameter 7.0 metres, no visible entrance.

(07/07/1977) This hut circle, internally 6.5 metres by 5.0 metres, lies on a small terrace on a moderate, well drained south facing slope at 360 metres above Ordnance Datum. The walling, 0.8 metres wide is very fragmentary and composed of small stones. Probably a type 1 hut.
Surveyed at 1:10 000 Scale.
