Name:Hut circle in settlement within field system east of Raddick Lane

Summary

Hut circle within a large settlement. Terraced into the hillslope and of the simple plan and rubble bank walling type. Interior survives as two rooms separated by a 1.2m wide and 0.6m high rubble wall. The northern room measures 5m by 3m and the southern room is 4m by 2m. A gap in the wall surrounding the northern room represents the doorway and faces north-north-west. This structure lies within a small irregular shaped field and is attached to three separate lengths of boundary wall.

(SX 5778 7033) Hut circle within a large settlement. Terraced into the hillslope and of the simple plan and rubble bank walling type. Interior survives as two rooms separated by a 1.2m wide and 0.6m high rubble wall. The northern room measures 5m by 3m and the southern room is 4m by 2m.
