Name:Hut circle in settlement within field system east of Raddick Lane

Summary

Hut circle within a large settlement. Terraced into the hillslope and of the conjoined plan and rubble bank walling type. Interior of the northern room measures 3.3m in diameter and is defined by a 1.8m wide wall standing up to 0.5m high. A 0.9m wide gap in the southern wall of this room represents a doorway. The interior of the southern room measures 2.6m in diameter and is defined by a 1m wide and 0.5m high wall. The doorway leading from this room survives as a gap in the surrounding wall and faces south-west. This structure is attached to a length of boundary wall forming part of the irregular aggregate field system in which this hut is situated.

(SX 5776 7032) Hut circle within a large settlement. Terraced into the hillslope and of the conjoined plan and rubble bank walling type. Interior of the northern room measures 3.3m in diameter and is defined by a 1.8m wide wall standing up to 0.5m high. A 0.9m wide gap in the southern wall of this room represents a doorway.
The interior of the southern room measures 2.6m in diameter and is defined by a 1m wide and 0.5m high wall.
