Summary

Post-medieval cache situated within a hut circle forming part of a large stone hut circle settlement. Structure includes a small D-shaped drystone wall surrounding an area measuring 2m long by 1.5m wide. The cache is built within the western part of stone hut circle (SX57SE/103/5). Probably constructed primarily for storing tools though it may have been used occasionally as a shelter against inclement weather.
