(04/05/1993) A short distance east of the barn is a rectangular stone lined hollow which measures 8.8m long by 2.2m wide and up to 1.5m deep. This structure is open at its southern end, where it meets the holloway leading towards the farmstead. The Monument Protection Programme fieldworker considers that this feature is probably a potato storage facility similar in all aspects to the hulls found in the vicinity, except that it is only partially subterranean.
