Hut circle '1' within Settlement 'A' at Newleycombe Lake Head has been partly demolished, the walling slabs uprooted and the stones piled into an oval cairn over the remaining third. This hut is one of the three central huts in the main enclosure and is on the south side of the leat.

(01/08/2006) (01/08/2006) Hut Circle 4: SX 5967 6980 Situated on the opposite side of the Leat to Hut Circle 3 and 4, but still located in the centre of the enclosure is a slightly larger Hut Circle, 6.1 metres in diameter. Like Hut Circle 3 it has suffered from interference. Its north side is covered by a heap of stone, probably due to the digging of the leat. The south side remains in place and at this point the bank is spread 1.6 m wide. The stone walls are covered in turf, but generally the vegetation is fairly clear. There is a possible entrance on its southwest side.
