Full description
Gerrard, S., 1990-2002, Monument Protection Programme. Archaeological Item Dataset., MPP 133324 (Report - Survey). SDV277946.
(17/01/1994) SX 6305 9141 Hut circle linked to a length of boundary wall forming part of agglomerate enclosure. Terraced into the hillslope and of the simple plan, earthwork and double orthostat walling type. Interior measures 7m in diameter and is defined by a 1.2m wide wall standing up to 0.6m high. Doorway survives as a 0.7m wide gap in the surrounding wall and faces north. The area between this hut and the one lying immediately to the east (MDV52462) may represent an original entrance into the agglomerate enclosure.
