Building or hut circle 3 metres east of Cawsand Beacon of 4.3 metres diameter with a bank 1.3 metres wide by 0.3 metres high. It has been identified as a stone hut circle, though it seems more likely that it represents the foundations of the building in which the person responsible for lighting the beacon would have occupied during times of crisis.

(17/11/1993) SX 6362 9150 Stone building 3m east of Cawsand Beacon, on the summit of Cawsand Hill. Survives as a circular 1.3m wide and 0.3m high rubble bank surrounding a 4.3m diameter internal area. Has been identified as a stone hut circle, though it seems more likely that it represents the foundations of the building in which the person responsible for lighting the beacon would have occupied during times of crisis.

Circular setting at the eastern foot of the large cairn on Cawsand Beacon may be the foundations of a hut circle or a more modern erection.
