Alleged hut - no ground evidence. Gerrard recorded a hut circle at this location in 1994, which were then scheduled. Ground survey in 2004 found no evidence of the features described; location is thought to be suspect.

(09/02/1994) SX 56629032 Hut circle on the southern edge of an extensive cairnfield of at least 64 mounds. Simple plan and rubble bank walling type. Interior of the structure measures 6.5m in diameter and is defined by a 1.4m wide wall standing up to 0.4m high. Probably broadly contemporary with the nearby cairnfield.

(08/09/1994) SX56629032 A stone hut circle was recorded at this location situated on a narrow natural shelf on a west facing slope of Longstone Hill. The Hut Circle is of Bronze Age date.

(27/01/2004) There is no ground evidence in the area described by the grid reference given in 1994 to suggest the presence of a prehistoric hut circle. The gently sloping hillside possesses a number of naturally stony areas, one of which may have been wrongly identified.
