HER Number:MDV52491
Name:Group of cairns on Longstone Hill

Summary

Three possible prehistoric clearance cairns. All three are sub-circular, between 3.4m and 4m in diameter and up to between 0.5m and 0.8m high. Many of the cairns within the group are crest sited, strongly suggesting that many of the cairns probably contain burials, although the size and shape of some mounds suggests that some may also be associated with stone clearance.
