Name:V-shaped ditch, Trowlesworthy Warren

Summary

One of six animal runs surviving in close proximity to each other, as a series of separate and interconnected gullies situated within a partially enclosed hut settlement. V-shaped. Its northern arm measures 25m long, its southern arm is 15m long and it measures 0.8m wide by up to 0.2m deep. A bank of material upcast during its construction lies adjacent to the hollow and measures 0.5m wide by 0.3m high [5]. This is site No.102 078 in the National Trust Upper Plym inventory. These gullies probably represent a complex system of animal runs in which rabbits and vermin could have been trapped.

E (SX 5767 6434). V-shaped. Its northern arm measures 25m long, its southern arm is 15m long and it measures 0.8m wide by up to 0.2m deep. A bank of material upcast during its construction lies adjacent to the hollow and measures 0.5m wide by 0.3m high [5]. This is site No.102 078 in the National Trust Upper Plym inventory.
