Site visited on 21st November 1979 and 18th July 1989. Utilises drillsplit slabs and posts laid across crude drystone abutments and piers. Probably built as part of the powder mills complex, to facilitate movement of raw materials and finished product. Consequently post-1844. One of three clapper bridges within the Powder Mills complex.
