Summary

Three small cairns situated at SX 63617837 on a moderate S slope above Gawler Bottom. All are composed of small to medium size stones, now partly covered in vegetation. Only C has a clearly-defined plan A and B are vaguer stone piles. This suggests that they may be clearance as opposed to burial cairns.

(20/07/1989) Three small cairns situated at SX 63617837 on a moderate S slope above Gawler Bottom.
A: SX 63607836 Vaguely circular; 2m in diameter and 0.3m high.
B: SX 63617837 Vaguely circular; 2m in diameter and 0.3m high.
C: SX 63637837 Oval; 3.8 by 3.2m and 0.3m high.
All are composed of small to medium size stones, now partly covered in vegetation. Only C has a clearly-defined plan A and B are vaguer stone piles. This suggests that they may be clearance as opposed to burial cairns.
