(09/08/1989) Fragmented elements of a field system situated at centre SX 62007810 on a slight to moderate S slope 500m S of Higher White Tor.
Field boundaries survive as low stoney banks averaging 1.2m wide and 0.3m high, the majority completely vegetation covered. The main surviving element is a bank commencing at SX 62117779 and running an intermittent, curving course NE, N then W ending at SX 62227818. From its N section three banks leave it to head broadly N. There is no direct indicators of its former extent, but it seems to partly encompass an area of dense clitter. this might suggest that the main curving bank was a limit of expansion fields being situated to its N and W.
