(29/06/1989) Centred SX 63097661. Amorphous shallow opencast workings occupy 0.45 hectares of undulating enclosed pasture. The remains resemble tin openworks but may be the result of quarrying for roadstone. Turf-covered linear mounds and channels also low piles of upcast material lie in the 0.9m deep excavated depression. There is no obvious water source and a 2.0m wide, 0.7m deep channel or track extends to the NW and the road. A smaller reed-filled depression and 3.0m wide channel lies to the SW.
