Full description

Hut 6. Large hut, poorly preserved. In north-east part of the pound on almost level ground. Many facing stones missing. Entrance from the west. Hearth towards back of hut, on lower side, with a paved surround.
Occupation layers shallow and unprolific. No pottery found, but some clay patches were trodden into the centre of the floor.
Finds; a piece of a shale spindlewhorl, one beach pebble, 14 water worn stones, scrap of flint, and piece of yellow ochre. Patch of charcoal near the door suggested that refuse was thrown outside. Roof supported on ten uprights, bedded in packed postholes.

Hut Circle '6' of 7.7 to 8.3 mestres diameter at 'Brockhill Foot West enclosure' is a large building in the north-eastern part of the enclosure with an entrance to the south-west.
