Summary

In a pasture field due south of Hartyland and just north of the boundary wall, is a slightly mutilated turf covered stony mound. It measures 19m NNW-SSE by 2.7m wide and is 0.7m high. It has slight ditches both sides 1m wide and of 0.2m maximum depth. It may have extended 3m or more to the NNW where it has apparently been robbed.

(23/08/1989) SX 64517938 Mound. In a pasture field due south of Hartyland and just north of the boundary wall at about 345 OD, is a slightly mutilated turf covered stony mound. It measures 19m NNW-SSE by 2.7m wide and is 0.7m high. It has slight ditches both sides 1m wide and of 0.2m maximum depth. It may have extended 3m or more to the NNW where it has apparently been robbed.
It does not appear to be a pillow mound and may be fairly recent but its true purpose and period are unknown.
