Summary

Vis=7/9/1989 (rchm) a domestic leat running from sx62927669 to sx63327693. It is a slight, dry channel averaging 0.5m wide and 0.2m deep. It served 2 groups of cottages and the small fields associated with them in the latter half of the 19c and possibly the earlier part of the 20c. The leat was originally taken off a streamlet c 250m to the nw of its present w extremity, but its course is now lost (rchm).

(07/09/1989) SX 63117682 Leat.
A domestic leat running from SX 62927669 to SX 63327693. It is a slight, dry channel averaging 0.5m wide and 0.2m deep. It served two groups of cottages and the small fields associated with them (see SX 67 NW 194) in the latter half of the 19th century and possibly the earlier part of the 20th century. The leat was originally taken off a streamlet c 250m to the NW of its present W extremity, but its course is now lost.
