Summary

Earthworks of medieval or later tinner's pits situated to the north of the B3537 on Dunnabridge Common. An archaeological field survey in 1990 noted that the pits, which follow no particular line, were interspersed with later roadstone quarries and military trenches.

(09/08/1990) Centred SX 63807502. Several tin pits lie in disturbed ground north of the B 3537 on Dunnabridge Common. The pits which follow no particular line are interspersed with later roadstone quarries and military trenches.
