Possible shaft (Site 30) shown on early 20th century map & aligned with two other possible shafts (see PRN 72800 & PRN 72801) which may represent a late period of underground exploration at Wheal Russell Mine. The survey in 2005 found a depression 6 meters long x 3 meters wide x c0.8 meters deep choked with vegetation. Other details: Fig 9.
