An anti-tank ditch ran along west side of railway embankment from circa SY28459728 to SY28979781. It formed the front line of the Taunton stop-line at point where the rivers Axe and Yarty meet as far as the steeper railway embankment. Part described under MDV24551. The southern end of the ditch is clear on the RAF 1947 aerial photo but has been partly obliterated by the time of the 1948 aerial photo. A concrete obstacle rail block is visible at its southern terminal. Location map in HER.
