A six sided pillbox. Door facing towards farmhouse. No. 54 painted on central support. Seven windows. Beneath five windows small rectangular hole about 25 centimetres deep. The two windows either side of door do not have these holes. There is a large hole in the roof and the metal spike supports are visible.
